Not sure what to say?

I see that several Printing, Inc folks have made some nice comments about Dave.
I know I had not worked for him very long and he came thru the plant and new my name. He always knew my name and treated all of us with appreciation for our craftsmanship.
Every Good Wish to the Hammel Family and Friends at this sad time.

Mr. Hammel was a wonderful man to work for and with at Printing Inc. He was always
very well respected and looked up to.

I loved Dave-- and we were "playmates" from childhood when he talked about what he would do with his first million while we were making popcorn in Hammel's big iron kettle! I'd stop to visit him in Wichita while driving alone on my way to work in Texas or Arizona in later years. We "Twins" got to visit in his new house in AZ, too. I think our IQ's-- Jean's, his, and mine were 3 in a row in high school, if I remember correctly. We were looking forward to visiting him again when we were ...

WE grew up with Dave. His family lived across University Street in Owatonna, MN and we went to kindergarten together, in good weather in the back of their dumptruck! We were good friends all our lives, and visited him in his home in Rio Verde. WE graduated from OHS in 1942. He is the last "close" member of that class. There are few of us left...He was such a good man. We look forward to seeing him in Heaven.

family is always family, as was yours!!

I have a tremendous amount of respect for him and the positive influnces he had on my life and the lives of many others.
Please accept my sincere sympathies.

Mr. Hammel was a wonderful man to work for at Printing Inc., prayers for his family

I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I remember the wonderful times I had growing up across the street from you on Mt. Vernon. Your parents were like 2nd parents to me. You "kids" were like younger brothers and sisters, even though I was called to take care of you. Thinking of you. Joyce Longren Millis

Dear Hammels,
What a great guy your dad was. I mostly knew him from Bill and Mary Dakan but my folks snowbirded in Rio Verde at the same time as the Hammels, much enjoyed their fellowship, involvement in charity work, and of course a bit of golf.
He will be missed.
