Dave was a quintessential member of a generation growing up in the second half of the 20th century who represented what is great about America. He lived the American dream, doing highly skilled work and earning a good income and able to support his family and live a good life. He loved his family and friends and loved living life to the fullest. I remember Dave as a very happy-go-lucky child who always looked on the bright side, as others have said.
