I met David several years ago in the lunch area of a local Wegmans that I frequented. I noticed him always reading. Eventually we talked and had a mutual fond interest in human psychology. I honestly could not get enough of his knowledge. He tried so hard to help me to understand things that I had questions about. He always acted out of kindness. He was such a pleasure to be around. Always in control and gentlemanly he was. He taught me a lot. I just hope that he learned from me too! ...

My sincerest condolences to David's family. David was like a grandfather to me for as long as I can remember. My grandfather, Sheldon Moonay, passed away around a year before I was born. David, a friend of my family, was a great companion to my grandmother, Tova, for many, many years.

In the disney movies that I grew up with, step-relatives were often portrayed as wicked and cruel. David was nothing but kind to me and my family, and we nicknamed him my Good Step-grandfather. ...
