Not sure what to say?

Saddened and sorry to discover this sad news online a year later. Dave's wife Nancy is one of my maternal grandmother's first cousins. He was always a delight to visit with at family gatherings. Sending prayers of comfort for Nancy and the rest of Dave's family at this first year anniversary from his passing.

I worked with Dave at Yankee. Dave was a special person to me who taught me the importance of keeping procedures simple. After my time at Yankee, I endured many experiences where I would say to myself..."Dave would never do that". To a large measure, Dave enabled Yankee's success by being highly accessible with straight forward guidance to the engineers.

David was a good neighbor and friend to my parents. My condolences to Nancy and other family members.

May God bless and keep you Dave. It was an honor and privilege to have known and worked with you through the years at Yankee Atomic. I fondly remember the many times we played together in the Yankee golf league or in the annual Yankee Rowe vs. Engineering office golf outings at Waubeeka CC and elsewhere. You were always the gentleman. I express my deepest sympathy to your family in this time of sorrow. Let us all take solace in celebrating a life well lived.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I've often thought back to my days in the 1980's working under his supervision. He was knowledgable in the engineering and control of a nuclear power facility, and I was pleased to fulfill the projects completed under his direction and guidance.

Mr. Hansen,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
