HANSON, David – Of Flint Township, age 57, died Thursday, November 26, 2020 at his residence.
A private funeral service will be held. Major Wes Green officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Visitation 10am-2pm Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Contributions may be directed to the American heart Association.
David was born in Flint on June 1, 1963, the son of Thomas Sr. and JoAnn (Marsh) Hanson. He graduated from Ainsworth High School, Class of 1982, where he met the love of his life, Cindy Condon. They were married on June 12, 1982. They spent 38 beautiful years of marriage together. Together they raised their special daughter Tammy. David’s first love was serving Christ and spreading the Gospel. He was an inspiring man. David was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was employed with Meijer for over 2 decades.
Surviving are wife, Cindy;
daughter, Tammy;
father, Thomas Sr.;
sister, Debbie (Craig) Stiff;
special Godson, Gavin Stiff;
several nieces and nephews;
and beloved dog, Bella.
He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn and brother, Thomas Jr.
