David Elmer Harden

We were neighbors to Dave for the last 6 years and it was always a joy to see him walking Ollie and to shoot the breeze with him about the neighborhood gossip. He will be greatly missed, may he rest in peace.

Over 70 years of friendship comes to an end for two Marines that shared many life experiences. From grade school to joining the Marines Dave had an impact on my life beginning with his letter convincing me to join the Marines. While in boot camp I was not happy about that letter, but the Marines changed my life for the better. Sometime the little things in life can have profound impacts on your life like that letter did for me. Always loved Daves stories about over 70 years of friendship...

Emily and Family, Dave and I were friends all our lives. I cherish our friendship and the memories. He was good to everyone especially my family. He is a true hero serving our country during Vietnam when times were tough. Our thought and prayers are with you. Monte and Mel Makin

Dave was a awesome guy! He use to bring me a beer in brown bag down to the farmers market at bolt park back in the day. Lots of good memories playing cards and eating vension in the barn back in the day.
