Dec. 22, 1950 - May 23,2012 David Hurtis Hardwick, 61, of Kennett, Missouri, passed away at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at St. Bernard Hospital, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born December 22, 1950, in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Hattie (Rollins) Hardwick. On June, 22, 1988, in St. Louis Missouri, he married Clayetta McDaniels, who preceded him in death on March, 6, 2011. David spent his life working in the automotive industry as a mechanic, detailer and automotive transporter. He was an auto enthusiast, and loved having a good time with his friends. Most of all he loved and cherished his family. He is survived by three brothers; Jeffery Hardwick Sr. of Elsberry, Kenneth L. Hardwick of Spanish Lakes, Missouri, and Danny Hardwick Laconia, New Hampshire.; three sisters; Janice Chandler Of Elsberry Missouri, Patty K. Danes of Elsberry, Missouri, and Donna Disney and Husband Carey Of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sons and their wives, Paul Schaffer and Chrissy of Nemo, Mo., David A. Hardwick Jaworski and Sheila of Kokomo, In. and Kenneth James Hardwick and Rebecca of Hamilton, Ohio; three daughters, Connie Lee of Paragould, Ark., Jacklin Odom and husband George of Columbia, Mo. and Richelle Hardwick of Kennett, Mo. As well as 31 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Hattie (Rollins) Hardwick; a brother Steven W. Hardwick, and two sisters Nancy Caffazo and Nikki Jackson and two sons Ed Schaffer and Jeff Schaffer. Services are to be announced at a later time as so that the family may be able to carry out the wishes of Mr. and Mrs. Hardwick. Arrangements were entrusted by Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
