Not sure what to say?

I´m sorry I didn´t get to know u as an adult, but as a kid 13 years ur junior my memories consist of when u were young. U were intimating by size, but never personality. You have no clue how cool I thought I was when I got pink zipper earrings; they matched ur black one. Nothing but love cuz; I´ll see u again some day

It's been a couple of years now but my heart still aches as much as it did the day we lost you. I love you David, and will miss you always. It was great having you as a brother even though it seems like we drifted apart over the years, but my love for you never changed. See you again some day. Sending a big hug and kiss your way.

My Deepest Condolences to the Family. RIP MY FRIEND!!!!

He will be greatly missed by all of us who had the privilege of working with him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time. Below is from a text thread earlier this month that shows how we all feel about Dave.

Since day one meeting you, I could always depend on you, your ethics and morals were impeccable. I will always think fondly of you, and you will be sorely missed. Rest well my friend!

Thank you for making me feel welcome in a way that honestly felt special. Once I figured out that you were just looking out for your work family, I was honored to be a part of it. A joke was always in the chamber, usually at my expense- but I couldn't get enough of them. It was the best part of my day- I would turn around and walk away stone faced, then chuckle to myself on the walk away. Funny. Kind. Smart. Tireless work ethic. We can all strive to be a little more like you. Rest well, can't...

You have made your final march down the lonely dusty trail. You are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom and democracy. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran. A Navy Vietnam Veteran.
