Not sure what to say?

I remember back in 1950 Coach Harris and his beautiful wife would occasionally drive by in his blue Chevrolet and stop me on my afternoon paper route on Berryhill road to buy a newspaper from me. They always gave me a big smile and that would be the highlight of my day. He was a remarkable man that gave so much to so many from the football field and beyond and his memory will live on in all the lives he touched. My condolences to the family.

Though our introduction was just a few short months ago, we all quickly fell in love with this delightful, wonderful man. Reading his life story and knowing Andy and Sherry and their children, we are assured why. Our condolences to you all and especially Mary Arden.

He was the Tom Landry of area High School Sports, a legend in his own time. He taught us players more than football. He taught and showed us how to live with character, integrity, honesty, and loyalty. I got to introduce him to my son, when he was 6 years old, and my son now 30 still remembers it. Now, I...
