David M. Harris

Mr. David M. Harris 75, of Lynn, formerly of Newton, passed away Wednesday, August 17th, 2022 at Salem Hospital.    

David was the loving husband of Cathie (Curtis) Harris of Lynn, with whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage and resided in Lynn for many years.     

Born in Newton, he was the son of Marguerite (McCassie) Harris. He graduated from Newton North High School class of 1967 and retired after many years working in the printing industry as a lithographer on specialized eight color printing presses.     

David loved gathering with family and friends listening to his extensive collection of classic records; and often spoke of fond memories riding his vintage Harley Davidson. His favorite hobby was gardening and he prided himself on his tomato garden that produced record sized tomatoes year after year that his family thoroughly enjoyed.     

In addition to his loving wife Cathie, David is survived by his children; Allison and fiancé, Scott, April and fiancé, Paul, Stephen and wife, Heather, and Rachel and husband, Francisco. Along with his grandchildren; Joshua, Stephen, Trinity, Serena (Nina), Kavi, Jacob, Benjamin, Sebastian, and Kate. As well as his beloved min pin Jessie-Dash.      

He is predeceased by his mother; Marguerite, son; David, brother; Paul, and granddaughter; Naiyah.      

He will be fondly missed by many.     

Arrangements: David’s funeral service and visitation will be held at Goodrich funeral home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, on Tuesday, August 23, 12pm-3pm. A private burial will be held at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden on Friday.
