Dave was a football team mate @ Central in 1950...I a senior, he a sophomore. While I had not seen or heard from him since high school, I remember him as a friendly, hard working team mate.

My fondest memories of working in the nursery are of Dave. The kindness he showed to us kids and the fun we had! I thought of him every year on April 10 and smiled. I wish I'd told him how much he touched my life.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hartungs. I had the privilege of meeting/seeing Dave a few times when he came down to AZ to visit with his daughter. He was such a kind and gentle human being. He will be missed tremendously.
