Not sure what to say?

Buddy man i'm so sorry. i just now heard. I can't believe it. The first thing that came to mind when i heard, was when he used to take us to school, always giving good advice. my whole families thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Rose and family,

What a wonderful example of a caring, loving husband and father David was. We never saw him without his 1000 watt smile! He was one of the most active dads at St. Jerome and St. Mary's. He always made time to coach and attend his kids games.

We know he will be greatly missed. May God comfort you all.

You are in our thoughts and prayers

Rosa and all the family,

The news of David's untimely calling has hurt all of us that were privileged to have worked with him and gotten to know him.

He was always talking about his family; whether it was the kids sports, etc., it was always "they" and never "I." Know that you all came first in all he did and it was very apparent to all of us.

His is the rarest kind that is never appreciated as much as they should be. He will be missed by all of us.

May God...

ROSE AND KIDS, I AM SO SORRY ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE HAD TO GO THROUGH. THIS IS A TRAGIC LOSS TO ALL. MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU ALL.

David was a valued colleague and a widely admired engineer. His contributions, both professional and personal, are already greatly missed. My deepest condolences and best wishes as you try to carry on.

Rosa and kids,

I just wanted to let you all know there are a great many of us who worked with David that are here in Austin, TX praying for all of you. For us, David was the expert we turned to when we needed explanations. He meant a lot to all of us.

At the same time, we could all sense his passion for his family. I am learning from David to prioritize my family.

We will certainly miss David's energy and wisdom. I pray that it lives on in all of you.

May God...

Our prayers and thoughts are with your family during your time or sorrow. We are deeply saddened to hear of your loss of your husband and father. God Bless each of you. With love Michelle and Desiree DeDonatis

Coach Heeley was my first ever baseball coach. I remember being on his tee-ball teams practicing out on the St. Jerome field. He will always hold a special place in my heart as being the first man to coach me in the game I love so much. He was a wonderful coach who always kept us positive, motivated, and the most respectful sportsmen we could be. He will be greatly missed. His engaging smile and positive way about him self was so gratefully contagious. Every greeting he delivered was with a...

Whenever I think of Dave, I always remember that grin of his! He was such a patient, caring T-ball coach for our boys - what a great introduction to the sport! Those early games were such a hoot - especially when the kids were in the outfield, with everything BUT the game on their mind! I still recall times when every kid on the team would chase after a ball & nobody was left in the infield to throw it to! Or when the lucky person would run it all the way in! Dave always laughed along with...
