Dave became a huge influence in my life after inviting me to join his morning coffee group ten tears ago. In spite of political differences, we became close friends and commiserated over shared experiences. I will really miss his sense of humor and great stories.

In 1984 Dave welcomed our family to Oregon and has been one of my closest friends since that day. Our families shared a backyard fence and quickly became family friends as All of our sons hopped over the fence to play Dave has been there for me and my sons on many occasions and a man cannot ask for a better friend. My very best to his family.
