David M. Hellman

David was kind, knowledgeable, and dependable. He raised the bar (pun intended) as an honest and decent attorney. I am very sad to hear of his passing, and send my deepest condolences to his family.

SO shocked to find out today that David had passed over almost 2 months ago. He was brilliant, kind, versatile, caring, and honest - always a willing listener, and life-long contributor to make society. I met him in Rotary almost 40 years ago, and we even went to high school the same years in Marin County. He became our CPA and at times legal counsel...he will be missed and remembered with fondness and admiration.

David was a stalwart supporter of Marin Council BSA, helping them with a wide range of legal and organizational matters. He was quick to point out that he was not only an attorney but a CPA, and volunteered his time on Chuck Finney's "Your Legal Rights" radio feature on public radio, taking calls from viewers with questions about their income taxes during tax season. Deepest condolences to his family. May his memory be eternal.

How sad and shocking it was to hear that Attorney Hellman has passed away. David and I worked together for more than 30 years on tax and real estate issues, doing many exchanges over the years with his Marin County Exchange Corp. Our deepest condolences to David´s family, friends and coworkers. He will be deeply missed. My late husband used to get all his Grateful Dead tickets from David over the years. That´s how much David went out of his way to help. He was our accountant and real estate attorney as well. He was simply the best.

Deepest condolences to Dave's family and many friends. We shared many classes together at San Rafael High School, and were on committees together and in student government together. He gave his all to everything he did! He also helped me and my mother greatly years ago, with her decisions for her trust. He was so kindly supportive of her during that time.
