Not sure what to say?

David was my first ever landlord, out on my own. I knew nothing about finding a good deal on a rental and already had a mark on my record as a teen, but David saw right through that and gave me a chance to rent a livable apartment with no credit history, and learn how to prioritize my living expenses and quit getting the water shut off. Bless his heart.

Knew David in grade school. Actually i kind of liked David. So sorry to hear. I remember a kind sweet person

My condolences to the family. David was a year ahead of me at LHS and his brother Roger was on the gymnastics team with my older brother Steve Mitchell. We weren't close, but as many of us LHS grads did, we attended many of the same parties and events. David was a thoughtful nice person. Mike Mitchell

David floating the concrete smooth and level

David was a generous neighbor who lent his expertise helping us with all kinds of projects. We always enjoyed seeing him pull into our driveway on his motorcycle or lawnmower for a friendly chat. Dave showed up at my first concrete pour with his own tools and expert help. Thanks, Dave!

My deepest sympathy to the family of David. We knew each other starting with my college days in Lawrence. David was such a kind and giving man. We last spoke over the summer. I'm thinking of you all. You have my prayers.

I am very saddened to hear of David's death. David and I were on the Fellowship committee at FPC. He was always "cooking" for our dinners. He will be missed.

David was always so kind to me and others. My condolences to his family.

So very sorry for your loss. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers as you work through this difficult time. All our love, Walker and Sarah
