Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs Hendricks, We were very heartbroken to hear of Dave's passing but then rejoicing knowing he is with the Lord, how glorious! We found WBYO by accident in the early 80's & were so touched & fed by the programming & southern gospel music that we sold our tv just to listen. Dave was the best thing on radio & we miss him & the station very much. When it went off the air we felt a very strong loss in our lives. I am sure the Lord is saying "well done, thou good & faithful servant".May God...

Dear Nedra,
It's been many years since I saw Dave and yourself. But you have been on my heart the last few weeks. I have many great memories of Dave, WBYO, and having spent many hours with my dad Cal Levan at the station. I know that my mom and dad, where at the gates to meet him HOME!

Dear Nedra,
My family and I have many fond memories of Dave and the concerts where he included us, the Calvary Chords. I will remember you in prayer.

Dear Nedra,
My wife and I have many good memories of the time that I worked part-time there at WBYO, where we were introducted to Southern Gospel music, and enjoyed many live "sings" in the area. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Friends, my husband worked the night shift on WBYO in the early 80's for about 2 years. Dave was always so very friendly and hospitable whenever I came down to the station with my husband. When our first son was born I often listened to WBYO in the middle of the night while nursing the baby. I was so glad to have a Christian radio station to listen to at that hour. My husband loved working at WBYO, and Dave was the best boss. Now, 26 years later, our son works in radio, too. It was...

Dear family:

I only met Dave one time years ago. It was at a men's fellowship meeting of Calvary Temple, Allentown in the early sixties, and was held at a bank meeting room just outside the Allentown Fairgrounds. I introduced myself and shook his hand, and told him how much I enjoyed the WBYO broadcasts, and gospel music. I heard him on the station countless times, and at the time I was encouraged and strentgthened In Christ through his ministry through that station. He was...

So sorry to read of Daves passing. I truly enjoyed all of his programs and miss the music he loved to share. I bought some of his old albums at the Milford Park auction not to long ago. He was a true gentleman.

Dear Sister Hendricks
No words can be said to ease your loss today; but may it give you comfort that your husband, David, touched many lives for His Saviour and Lord. I enjoyed listening to him on WBYO, WBYN over the radio; then over the internet from WBYN 1160's web site. I will miss his program; but rejoice that he is singing the gospel songs around the Heavenly Throne today. You will be in my prayers as you walk this journey of sorrow.

Dear Nedra

My most sincere sympathies. I've always had the deepest respect for the two of you.

Mary
