Not sure what to say?

Many years have passed since I worked with David Henry, when he was Director of LASPAU and I headed AID's Office of Latin America Regional Projects. Of the 23 projects in that office, LASPAU was my favorite, and it was a pleasure to work with David, whose dedication to his work was unbounded. This website may no longer be operational, but if it is, I extend my condolences to David's family. Mr. Henry,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN in the Pacific fighting the Japanese during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Wedgeport, N.S.

Our deepest sympathy to the Henry family during this time of grief. We have fond memories of Dave and family as summer visitors to the Cape in Wedgeport. Our sympathy to Meg and Dick and extended families at this difficult time.

To the Henry family, especially to Meg and Dick, childhood friends in Wedgeport, my heartfelt sympathies, and also to our friends on Morris Island, NS, Bob and Zorina Curnen.
Our thoughts are with you during these sad moments.

Dave's sense of fun and kind energy made the visits in Jackson warm and relaxing. He loved children and created an environment where they were a part of all that went on if they were interested. He was a great companion and will be missed by many.

Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

My deepest sympathy to the Henry Family, especially to Meg and Dickie, whom I remember well from the Cape in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia. My family and the Henry family shared many happy visits in N.S.
