Not sure what to say?

David was one of my all time greatest friends and godfather to my daughter. The world is a little darker since he has passed but his friendship, humor, and love blazes through the darkness forever. Rest easy, my friend.

Susan, my condolences on David's passing. You and your family are in my prayers.

David's departure is stunning. I suppose we had him in our family so long it seemed he would always be there. Kind, especially to children, quiet and a keen observer; professional and intelligent; all these things, and more that I failed to learn about him! Thanks, David, for loving our sister so well for so long, and for enhancing our family. Rest up, for we'll eventually catch up with you and resume our gatherings. You are very much missed.

Dave was such a joy to work with for more than a decade on the Enquirer copy desk. We shared some great laughs and great camaraderie, and also got through some tough news stories (9-11) and challenging times (layoffs, downsizing) together. Through it all, Dave was a calming influence, a steady hand, and a great guy to work with. He made all of our lives richer.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

To our dear friends Sue and Dave — ❤

We will miss our good friend Dave and will ALWAYS remember the fun and happy times we shared.

The best big brother I ever had! Thanks for indulging me at Disney World. Will always remember finding the perfect t-shirt for my “Grumpy “ brother. Thanks for loving your niece. I will miss you. Love, Betsy
