Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you Dave. I hope you and Pat Goold are on heavens back nine.

Thomas More College's loss was JCU's gain. We "roomed" senior year in college as he and his roommate tolerated me then we all shared an apartment the first year after graduation. Herm was a great guy. He taught me how hockey players fight and w his skinny arm , showed me how to stick his arm up a cigarette machine in Dolan Hall basement to flick Camel cigarettes down for free. He was the best and I was lucky enough to count him as a friend.

Condolences on the loss of Dave. My twin brother Mike use to hang out with him in high school. He is such a nice person. He will be truly missed. Sue praying for you and your family on this new journey

I was so sad to hear of the loss of Dave. I have known Dave since freshman year at St. Edward´s and joined him at JCU too. Dave accomplished a lot in his short life. My wife Cathy knew Dave too and we both agree he was a smart, gentle and funny guy to be around. We live in Florida and so we missed the wake and funeral. But we will be sure to make a donation to St Edward in his honor as a member of the class of 1980. The Class with Class. Rest in peace Dave. Say hi to Pat...

Our deepest sympathy to you Sue and family. We are saddened to hear that Dave passed so suddenly. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Sue, I was very sorry to hear of your devastating loss. You and your family are and will be in my prayers and have my heartfelt sympathy. - Your swimmy friend <

To the Herman Family: Dave was a good friend at St. Brendan’s back in the early 1970s. Good times playing football at your house back in the day- great family. I will be praying for all of you.

Although I could not be with you during the services, I wanted you to know how much Dave meant to me through the years. He was the constant reminder of the importance of family and friendship. I will always remember shaking hands with him, with his off hand on my shoulder, as if to say, I appreciate you being here
May God continue to watch over My Herman Family. Sincerely, Tom Lynch

Sue and Family, Our deepest sympathy. May he rest in peace. God bless.
