Not sure what to say?

I was so saddened to hear of Dave Hildreth's passing. I had been thinking a lot of him over the last several months wondering how his life turned out. He was my first real boy friend in in 1967 when I was in 10th grade. He was a great guy. I knew that he taught at Pat Med because he had helped my niece with math and she loved him. I am sorry that I never got the chance to catch up with him again. My deepest condolences to his family. Martha Van Caeseele Pontieri

For Dave's wife and family, and for Karen, my sincerest condolences. I grew up on Jones Street with Dave (he was a couple of years older so he was a "big kid"). I hope, at some point, I can send a nice letter to the family to share some funny and bright moments of our childhood. I can still see and hear Davey laughing at some prank or joke from over 50 years ago! I am saddened at his passing but am so very glad I have all the funny and great memories of him as we grew up!

I am so sad to hear of Mr. Hildreth's passing. He was a great teacher and friend I was in his 1975 9th grade algebra class, also had him for homeroom and he went on the school ski trips with us. He was a good listener and had a great sense of humor. I stayed in touch with him over the years and he came to the church for my wedding. He always had a great smile and he will be greatly missed.

I will always have very fond memories of Mr. Hildreth (Math teacher - PM). Not only was he a very cool teacher, he genuinely took interest in his students and offered his time to helping them. Math was never my strong subject (still isn't) but he had the patience and enthusiasm to support his students and stand by their side, he got me threw it! Mr. Hildreth, by far, IS my most favorite teacher and he will NEVER be forgotten. God bless him as he rests in peace. My sincere thoughts and...

I am so very sad to hear of Mr. Hildreth's passing. He was my 9th grade Algebra teacher in 1975 at Pat-Med. Yes, 38 years later I still remember how special he was. I struggled with math and spent many hours being tutored by him. He was the reason I passed the Regents Exam. Please know that he made a difference in kids lives. My deepest sympathies are with you, his family, loved ones and friends.
Regretfully,
