I recently received word that David had departed to be with Jesus. My wife and I met David a couple of years ago as we were returning to Birmingham from Montgomery. It was a very cold day and I had a flat tire in the middle of nowhere on I-65. I had no tools with which to change the tire After a brief discussion of how this happened, we turned to God and asked him to send help. Moments later David Hindman arrived. He and at least one of the boys were dressed in camouflage. He said they had...

Michelle,
My heart goes out to you and the family. David and I met at Log Base Charlie during Operation Desert Storm 90-91 the first Gulf War. He was with the Alabama hospital unit between Rafha and al Batin on the border of Saudi and Iraq. We met during the war-the time we were dealing with the loss of an Alabama Soldier that died suddenly cause unknown. I know he reached out to that family after we all got home. David found me again on the internet and I was so glad. Glad that I...

Michelle, I just can't believe it. I was with my daughter on a band trip to D.C. and didn't find out until Saturday night. I am so sorry that I wasn't at the funeral. David was a wonderful cousin and I know that he cherished you and the kids. I would love to help with whatever you need and can get to Birmingham in a couple of hours if you need me to. Please know that my family will be keeping you and the whole family in our prayers. May God's strength be with you. Love, Susan (Kramer) & David

Michelle I am still in shock. We were out of town for spring break or I would have been there. I plan to come to Bham in about 4 weeks and will help you with anything I can. I have alot of great childhood memories with David, Rick and Crystal. My prayers are with you. I am sorry it has been so long since I have seen you all. Love Terri
