Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

It is with great sadness that we heard of the passing of Dave. Our short time of working together (3 years) was a time that we were all just beginning our careers and often helped each other as Dave did many times and created many lifelong memories. I still remember Jane and I coming to your "new" home to remove an old carpet. Dave´s quick smile, twinkle in his eye and wry wit made him a person that I so enjoyed being around. Dear Mary Jo and the Hobe Family, We are very sorry to see this happen. Dave was a great friend. So kind, so positive, so helpful. He contributed so much to the Cleveland Hiking Club. He will be greatly missed. The picture is San Diego 2017, one of many good times. Frank and Marybeth Skala

In the year plus that I knew Dave, we had more fun at the bridge table and away from it than I would have thought possible. He was always enthusiastic, always positive and always kind. Irene and I will remember our dinners in Ohio City, talking about travel, school days and good food. We offer our deepest condolences.

Single Memorial Tree

Mary Jo and the Hobe Family, My first job out of college almost 30 years ago was with Hobe & Lucas. Grateful that I was given the chance to know and work with him. My sincere condolences and prayers at this difficult time.

David was one of my finest advisors. Our relationship started over 40 years ago when I started my neurosurgery practice. Over the years I learned David was a fine source of advice about numerous problems that disrupted my life, not just financial ones. We continued our relationship even after he retired, He will be sorely missed.
