Not sure what to say?

David and I were law partners and UW law school classmates (UW -62). Two accounts will illustrate David's impact on my life as a lawyer and our friendship. (1) I was a Deputy PA in King County and would see Dave in the King County Court house frequently. At the end of my second year as a prosecutor, he asked when I would get a real job? I interviewed with Jack Smith at Monheimer, Schermer VanFredenberg and Smith and was hired as the third associate. David and I enjoyed our work there and...

We just returned from the 50-year UW Law School reunion and are saddened to have heard about Dave's passing. He was groomsman at our wedding in 1963. Although we did not maintain a close relationship in later years, we have always had fond memories of Dave. Henry is still practicing law in Tacoma and well acquainted with Dave's legal reputation, including the class action against Asarco. We extend our condolences to the family. Please let us know the date and location of the celebration...

Dave was a great lawyer, mentor and friend. I grieve for his family but celebrate his amazing life. I will remember him always.

Dave was a light to the Seattle legal community. My deepest sympathy to Janissa and his family.

We will always remember his warm and welcoming smile, thoughtful wisdom, enduring devotion to his family and the tears we all shed watching the Obama inauguration. Of this we are certain..he will be dearly missed. Our love and support when and wherever needed.

Sarah and I got to know Dave when he joined my law firm about ten years ago. From the start I appreciated his brilliance, his sense of humor and his humanity. He also became, along with Janissa, a good friend and we will miss him.

Please accept our condolences on the loss of Dave. I have fond memories of cheering on the SAAS soocer team with him last year and our hearts go out to all of you. Kokie and Rockee Adams

We are so very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Dave was always pleasant to be around; sincere, kind, and ready with a smile. I have fond memories of standing with Dave and Janissa in every kind of weather while cheering on our daughters playing soccer. Our heartfelt condolences to Janissa, Alexa and the rest of the family.
Sincerely, Josh, Stacey and Sallie Marx

Sending our heart felt sympathy and love to Dave's family. Cherish the wonderful memories of time spent together.
