Not sure what to say?

One of the kindest people in the music business.

Fondly remembering Dave on an almost weekly basis.

Jean, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your Dave. I remember him as Dawn's really funny and kind big brother-in-law. You guys were my example of a fun, caring and cool couple - an important image to a 16 year old and one that influenced my own marraige.

Dave with his short e-mails and my short calls kept me sane when I was in a very insane place.
Thank you Dave.

DAVE WITH THE ORIGINAL UGLIES IN 2005

Read all of the tributes to Dave and multiply the love one hundred times. Jean, Missy and loving sisters: That's what Dave meant to me. I thank God for getting Dave Hoffman into my life.

Winston Fink you were one of a kind and a true showman. Thinking back to all the good times travelling and that darn bus....I hoped to see you perhaps at the last reunion in 07 at the DL pavilion. No such luck. It has been many years since I had seen the Uglies before this past DL concert and we and the band really missed you. We will miss you forever my dear Dave. Rest in Peace.

Never having had much musical talent, myself, I was always amazed and impressed with the talent of a Detroit Lakes born and raised man. Heaven is a better place with one of our own DLers singing up a storm. He was the best.
