Dear Holz family,

Dr. Holz was the most amazing doctor I have ever had, he made it so that I can walk again and after my surgery while I was in the hospital he came to my room and made sure I was ok, also when he took out my stitches he knew I was in pain and he made jokes to take my mind off of him, I hope that your entire family is doing ok,I know that its a rough and hard process, my prayers are with your family, again dr. holz was the most amazing doctor and he made me be able to...

To all the Holz family,
I am sorry for your loss. David was one of my teachers when I was a resident and I always looked up to him as having a big influence on my career. I will always remember his caring nature when it came to his patients and I find myself often using some of his expressions when I am explaining complex things to a patient. He had a way of making things seem simple.

I am so sorry to hear about David. He will be missed both professionally and personally. My heart goes out to you Clare and your kids.
