Not sure what to say?

I went to High School with Dave and participated in the music groups with him. He was a couple years older than me and I admired his musical talent, especially in our Jazz Band. We crossed paths at a college Jazz band festival/competition a few years later, but other than that, regretfully, we did not keep in touch. So, essentially, I only knew him as a teenager, but I will always remember looking up to him in High School because of his talent, and passion for music and the kindness and...

I first met Dave in Mexico City; we both became members of the OFUNAM in the fall of 1993. Later, we were both in the USAF bands program, but we never were in the same band. I'm happy we were able to reconnect and keep in touch via facebook. I'm stunned and saddened by his passing. He was a wonderful musician and a good friend. May God bless him and all those mourning his passing...

I am stunned and very sad to hear of David's passing. He was most certainly a force of light. David and I grew up together. My parents bought the house I grew up in from his parents. His big sister Susan was my baby sitter. David and I played music together for years. My heart goes out to Susan, Louis and family. Sending much love your way.

I was very sad to hear of Dave’s passing.
I considered him a friend and fellow musician. Local 5 appreciated his his service
As a member of our election committee.
May our father bless and keep him.

I’m shocked and disheartened to hear the news of David’s passing. I initially knew David from Interlochen, yet in recent years we had reconnected online. He’s been a presence in my life for well over a decade, and I have been grateful for his gracious, supportive friendship over the years.

He has always championed my daughter as he has watched her grow up. We have had many spirited political debates, occasionally clashing over certain things, but I’ve always greatly admired...

I am so sorry to hear about David's passing away. I knew him at IAA and we stayed in close contact in Facebook. I'm going to miss him. This is really sad. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Love, Debbie Secan

I will miss our foodie talks and making music jokes at both our expenses. You had just as many jokes about singers as I had about trombones. We shared wonderful cuisines, recipes, and most importantly laughs. Rest well friend.

I'm so sorry David has left us. He will be missed!
