Not sure what to say?

He was a great role model, I played baseball with his younger brother Pat, I remember 13-14 league summer ball, and David taught me the correct way to stand on the mound as a pitcher before the season started, I keep asking Pat, if he was going to come back and couch along with our head coach...he was a (Straub )
probably was Kurt Struab's older brother.

Also, I meet a guy at power house gym that David had taught, the fundamentals of
of the commercial of the heating and...

I met Dave in prison where I worked for him in the welding shop. I didn't really like him at first and was going to find another job. But I stayed and worked for him for 5 and a half years before going to Unicor. The last time I saw him, after he retired, he shook my hand. Dave was a good man and earned my respect. I think about him at times.

The Hoskins family will always be special to me. Though I didn't see David much after my high school year, I did know that he was also special in the community. My deepest sympathies to Terrie and their family as well as to his brother and sisters.

We are so sorry to have missed the service Terri but wanted you to know you are in our thoughts.

Mike and Lottie Parker

You all are in our thoughts. We attended the service tonight. It was wonderful to hear all the nice things everyone had to say about Dave. He impacted a lot of young lives. He will be greatly missed by all.

My deepest sympathy to Terrie & the rest of David's family. Our paths rarely crossed after high school, so I am only now finding out the amazing impact David had on so many people's lives. I am very grateful that David & I had a chance to reconnect at our class reunion last summer, and I will always remember him for his big heart, his kindness ... and that impish twinkle in his eyes. Rest in God's peace, my friend.

My heart goes out to all of Dave's family especially Terrie, Jesse, and Eva. I know too well the heartache you feel but I also know through God's grace and love you can be together again someday. Though you will shed many a tear Dave is spending Christmas in HEAVEN this year!

wonder man, I remember teaching me how to pitch a baseball. He was always trying to give me positive advise about home to be a living acting christian.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Hoskins' family. I'll remember Dave as the Coach who positively impacted the lives of my baseball boys and all their Milan teammates past and present.
