Not sure what to say?

Daivd,
I remember an afternoon walk through a home that is no longer standing where it once stood in a town so far away from where you have been! a little girl holding on to your hand as you surveyed this home for a fantastic painting that was made for two friends. One of which I believe still has the painting. My version is forever in my mind where all of your memories have been for so long. I am sorry I did not have a chance to see or speak with since then but the impact your soul has...

David we miss you and you are always in our thoughts

David I miss you in this world. I am surrounded by your art. You have been a large part of my life and I'll never forget you my friend.

David,My friend ,you shelter me from many storms. You gave me a place to lay my head. You broke and shared bread with me when i was hungry and with out bread of my own. I will always think of those days back in Encinitas Ca.as some of the best times of my life because of you. Love always,Clint W. Gray

I miss you cuz. You were always one of my favorite people and you always inspired me in many ways. As usual, I look silly because I'm signing this so late... I didn't know it was here.

I know that it wouldn't bother you, though.

Again... I miss you. I loved you a lot.

To the Howlett Family-
I was so sorry to hear about David. In early 2006, he painted a beautiful flower mural on the cinder block wall of my flower studio in Sterling, Virginia. It was difficult finding an artist who would work on a wall that was 18 feet high but David never hestitated. I spent a week in his company while he sketched and painted the mural and also completed a logo wall for my business. He graciously attended my Open House in March 2006 and kept in touch...

To the Howlett family,

My mother called to tell me the very sad news of David's passing--I was stunned at the news and so sad. Please accept my sincere sympathy.

David was a wonderful person, a great artist and a dear friend from our high school days.

I would like to write you personally and also would like to attend his memorial service. Would you please contact me at [email protected] with your address in Fayetteville, and details on the service...

To the Howlett family, I want to say how sorry we are to hear of David's passing. He was a great neighbor and had just gotten to know him over the last few years. He was the highlight of our walks around the block. Always greeting us with a smile and conversation. I now walk by and think of those times and smile. I will miss him, our prayers and thoughts are with your family during this difficult time.
