Not sure what to say?

I appreciated the breakfasts Dave and I had after my Dads passing,

Hudson Family, just found out today that Dave passed away....so very sorry. I taught high school special education at Gobles High School from 1980 to 1990, and have lots of great memories of my time there, many of them involving Dave! What a great guy, I remember his smile and sense of humor....My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mr. Hudson was a teacher, mentor and friend to me. He taught math in a way that made you actually like it and understand how to do it. He was also a coach, teacher, mentor and friend to my boys. He tried to instill good values and moral character in his athletes and students. After he retired he still continued to help out the students and community. He was an awesome man. He really cared about you and he was a man of God. There is nobody that can take the place of Dave Hudson but we need to...

Grief Can Be So Hard, But Our Special Prayers And Bountiful Memories Help Us Cope, if there is such a thing. You knew almost as much as me, lol...must be a Burr Oak thing. Seriously, Remembering You All And "my Brother " Forever.

Mr. Hudson one of the greats. I don't know exactly what to say, except you meant a lot to me. You were a part of my family and a part of my childhood. You made us all laugh just by being "Hudson". I was always excited to hear you were on your way over. Maybe it's because you'd be bringing Matt. Either way, I'm grateful you were around. Thank you Mr. Hudson for being a part of my life. You made a difference. You've been a good friend to my dad and to my family. I love ya and will never...

Dave was a great guy, an amazing friend, teacher and mentor someone who recognized a need in many of us and somehow managed to fulfill the need in all of us. You will be sadly and deeply missed by the Smith family. Sincere condolences to Karen, Children & Grandchildren.

I was saddened when hearing of Dave's passing. Ron, my husband, was a 1966 Burr Oak Classmate of Dave's. I continue to admire the unity of their high school class and the efforts Dave and others made to stay connected and nurture those ties. Dave visited Ron during his extended illness, and both of us enjoyed reminiscing with him; he was so upbeat and quick to bring us laughter. I'm sure that there are so many others who are better because Dave touched their lives.
