David Humphrey

I met Mr. H. When he brought his zoo schools to the library for a tour and research. The respectful way he taught his students and challenged them showed how excellent he was an educator. He left a good mark on this community. And he will be missed.

I worked with Dave at the zoo when I was in outdoor education. We would often visit in the morning before our students arrived. I loved is laugh...always a joy to be around to start our day!

Knew Mr. Humphrey from the Grand Rapids Public Schools. He was a wonderful man and teacher. He taught my son, Joe Hoffman at the Zoo School. He will be missed by many people. My thoughts are with his family. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Mr Humphrey was my 6th grade teacher at Westwood Hills School back in the 70s. He was my favorite teacher and I have thought of him often throughout the years. Condolences to his family on an incredible loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My Big Cuz always loving supportive and funny. The love between he and Joyce is phenomenal. Will never speak in past terms for he is still with us, watching over us until we meet again.

Mr. Humphrey was my principal and was always supportive of my teaching. I will remember him fondly!

Mr. H. was one of the finest humans on Earth, always caring, always guiding. His presence shaped so many lives. It was a joy and s privilege to have him in my life.
