David HUMPHREY

David was four years older then me which was a lot of years when you are only nine or ten but David was always kind with a smile on his face.....We were both from big families who had little in the way of money or possessions but rich in joy and celebrating life. Although to young to hang out With, David gave me his time and kindness. David and his family were a gift,and the Humphrey live in my heart and fill me with great memories of growing up on Brown st......Joe Estevez

David was my boy hood friend and my neighbor,a few years older then myself which made a difference when you are six or seven but David had a big heart and an ever ready smile and seemed to me like another big brother who lived across the street.David was a large part of the tapestry of my childhood and I cannot think of my childhood on Brown st without thinking of David.
