Not sure what to say?

A true prophet. A man of truth.

Ordinary man lives an entire life trying to be extraordinary. Dave was truly extraordinary and yet had no problem being ordinary!

There are no proper written words in the dictonary that seem to apply to this untimly loss for his family and friends.
Dave was Dave due to his friends and family that helped shape him into the person we knew as Dave. Thank You to all that contributed!... he was a masterpiece of exceptional spirit.

Dallas Dunn Lawrence Kansas

My heart goes out to Dave's family and wife. I just lost my husband, who was a passionate advocate on environmental issues and worked on very similar problems in Nevada that Dave was committed to. Deepest condolences.
Christine~Carson City NV

I knew Dave in High School and he was a great guy and someone to look up to. I would compare him to Farris Buhler as he was friends to everyone and we all liked him and respected him.

I knew Dave in the 1970s in Salina. We shared a few interests and a love of friends and laughter. He was absolutely one of the most generous spirits it was my pleasure to know, and I can't remember him ever having a harsh word for anyone, nor ever failing to treat everyone he encountered with kindness and true respect. I will always remember him fondly as a good and faithful friend, and for all the laughs and good times we shared.

Heidi- OCF circles informed me of Dave's passing. We do not know each other, but my thoughts are with you today and in the future. Hold on to the joy you shared!

P.S. I am grateful for all Dave's work, and that I got to experience the Energy Park aspect!

Yo John,
As Clay sez, Dave Hunt,"made a living out of making a difference in this world for all the rest of us..."

`tis a Paradigm thing,
a bigger than life man w/a really small footprint .
Wana chat, coffee, walk by the river??
He knows Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in pomp and fanfare,
but rather to skid in broadside, proclaiming,
'WOW, WHAT A EPIC RIDE!!!"
Let's have an SOP `n figure out what's next

Interesting obit. I have been involved in public policy issues in Salem and the state for 20 years and never heard of Dave. Obit was sort of unclear on his actual profession but still, very interesting.

I did not know Dave...but after reading his obituary I feel like I do now. What an amazing human being! I can only hope that when I pass that I have had as many wonderful accomplishments. My heart felt condolences to Dave's family and friends. A life to be remembered for many lifetimes to come....bless-ed be.
