Not sure what to say?

We met David and Jackie at our different Baptist churches 5th Sunday Singspirations--Jackie, first. Jackie always made us laugh. Gloria attended a couple of women's retreats and always loved being with Jackie. We were so happy for David and Jackie when they fell in love and got married. But it was such a sad day when we lost Jackie; but a celebration also as she went home to be with Jesus and her son Daniel. David & Jackie's music was always such a blessing to our hearts as was the ministry...

My Heart and prayers go out to David's family. He was such a sweet man. Praise God that David loved Jesus and will be with Jackie now in heaven. Love, Kim

I have been remembering all the fun times with David and Jackie. I am saddened with his passing but know he is with Jackie and Daniel and Jesus. My thoughts and prayers to all that have been touched by this extra ordinary special man. David, you are missed and we are all richer for knowing you.

David,

When Jackie went home I thought my life was over. You took her place as my best friend in life. I will miss out daily phone "gab" sessions and I will miss working with you at the Whole Art and the Civic. It is hard to go on without you but I know where you are AND who you are with. Give Jackie and Daniel a big hug and kiss from me. I can't wait to be with you again.

"Remember me with laughter for that is how I will remember you. If you can't remember me...

David and I shared many fun memories together at the Civic in "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Oklahoma." His personality and kind heart always warmed the practice room and stage. David, thank you for the fond memories. May your soul rest at your heavenly home with Christ. May God bless the Huss family.

Marvin and Jean, We have seen David in so many roles at the Civic. His best role was as a person who loved God and everyone he ever met. One night during Footloose, he and my Grandson Travis came into the seats and dragged my Grandaughter Katie and I onto the stage to dance. What fun. Losing a son is one of the greatest hurts in life., my heart is with you. Joan Harrison

I had the pleasure of working with
David in four productions at the
Kalamazoo Civic. The most memorable
was the first, "Rags," in 1998, an
extraordinary experience for many of
us. The most fun was "Guys and Dolls" in 2003 when David, George
Hebben, Lou Irwin, and I got to share an "old guys" dressing room -
a lot of laughs and good companion-
ship backstage as well as on stage.
Many of us will greatly miss David's
...

I have not thought of words to say, just wishing to extend a long distance hug to Jean and Marvin. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I just wanted to extend my sympathy to Marvin and Jean and Dianne and all of the family. I remember the first time I met David when a friend of mine and my husband and I went to Nashville and explored the conservatory at the Grand Old Oprey Hotel. Later, my husband David Brink went to numerous concerts at various churches to hear Consider the Lillies because he enjoyed their music so much. David was at my husband's funeral and said that the group would have sung for the service if I'd asked....
