Not sure what to say?

Mr. Hutton was Paseo's version of "welcome Back Kotter" and a very awesome teacher!

David, Delbert and I met in Cleveland in 1963 while attending new teachers workshops , we have remained friends. Delbert passed away on 10/05/11. We visited Kansas City many times and he visited Cleveland. He will be sorrowly missed as my husband. I know they are some place debating.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

David was a real people centered down to earth person, an advocate for young people, teacher of the whole child who stressed, "You can achieve the possible, if you would just sit down, shut up, and put your mind to it." David, you will be missed by all but you will live forever in the hearts you have touched along the way. God bless! Love from one educator to another. I will miss you my Brother!

David was a great teacher that had a great heart for what he has done for all of his students. He taught me English at Paseo in 1966. He will be missed!

Mr. Hutton was a truly GREAT teacher and mentor....he inspired us to learn and to make a difference in the world in which we live. I am forever grateful for his wisdom and wonderful sense of humor; To the family, you have my deepest sympathy and to Mr. Hutton, rest in peace Brother, you've done magnificent on this side...

I was honored to have had David as a mentor and a dear friend. I learned to enjoy the young people who were entrusted to our care at Paseo High School by observing Mr. Hutton teach his classes. As a friend

Mr. David Hutton was and exceptional teacher. He encouraged me as a student and as a pastor. May he rest in peace.
