Not sure what to say?

I don't know what to say; I just recently found out about the loss of David. The last time I spoke to David was roughly 4 years ago. David was part of my life one way or another for about 10 years. I will honestly miss him and remember him always.

David,
When I met you years ago on our blind date, I thanked God for sending me an angel. You were then, and I am positive you are now. Thank you for being a part of my life while you were here. I will miss you deeply.
All my love and sympathies to your family.

I was just so shocked when I heard the news. To Davids family, I offer my heart felt prayers. He was a really great guy, and someone I'm glad I had a chance to know.

I only knew Icky for such a short while during my time at Alliance but he made me laugh so much - he would come into work every day with a smile on his face and a witty comment as he walked through the door. He also took time out of his days on so many occassions to help my son Michael with his school work, they formed a great friendship during this time, Michael was so in awe of you Icky and I will always remember how you helped him aswell as the day we left Alliance heading back to England...

David at home 2003

David was a wonderful person. He was funny (so very funny!), loving and caring. David was also so sincere in everything he did. I admired him for so many things, but mostly for the kind of person he was. I was blessed to have had him in my life even if it was for just a few short years. The memories he has left me with will be treasured forever. My heart goes out to his entire family and to all of his dear friends. God Bless you all.

I knew David through my cousin Chip Carnes. David was a sweet man with a huge heart, I know that he is at peace. He will be missed greatly.

Dear Aunt Marie, Uncle Dick and Heidi:
I am so very sorry for your loss. It is hard to believe that David is gone. I always admired him--his sense of style, his easy manner, and especially his ability to attract women with nice cars. What really made David special was how easy it was to talk to him-- even when we had not seen each other in years. No matter how long it had been, he was always the thoughtful cousin and good friend. I will miss him very much and I hope he is having a...

Dave, though I only knew you for a short time, I had the great pleasure of saying I knew one of the finest people. You were a great leader and a truly giving person. I can't belive your gone. You will be missed greatly by all who knew you.
For your family I leave this short poem.
-The seconds between the moments of time, the days between the first and the last, these are the measures of men, but remain hidden until they've passed.-
You will always be remembered as leader, a...
