JACOBS Jr., David Ronald - Of Grand Blanc, age 50, died Monday, June 14, 2010 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 814 W. Nepessing Street, Lapeer, MI 48446, Father Aaron DePeyster officiating. Burial in Mt. Loretto Cemetery, Lapeer. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. There will be no visitation at the church prior to the Mass. David was born in Flint on October 21, 1959, the son of the late David and Mary (Chaplin) Jacobs and was a resident of Flint all his life. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. David owned and operated the Mid American Auto Parts Store in Clio and later managed Auto Zone stores. Surviving are wife, Brenda; daughter, Carrie Jacobs and son, Joey Jacobs; brothers Dr. Michael (Yvonne) Jacobs and Richard Jacobs; sisters. Scarlet (Danny) Allen and Shiela (Elliott)Ostrom; stepchildren, Bryan (Tammy) Bond, Christopher (Michelle) Bond and Derek Bond; grandchildren, Seth Dolan and Connor Bond.
