I remember David from the day I picked him up in Bedford to go to CYO Camp Madison. He was a wonderful enigma then and remained so the rest of his life. His wonderful mind was a continuing marvel. Now he will have the answers he so diligently sought. His memory will enrich the world he shared with all of us.

Dave had a boyish smile that appeared just before he delivered a great line. He had that look often and those lines were often followed (sometimes by a pause, and then) by many smiles in the room. He gave many smiles to many people. I'll miss his great sense of humor, constant kindness, and regard for others. May we all be inspired to live with as much character as he did.
