Not sure what to say?

It seems a shame that the best ones are gone.

Over the last 20 years that Dave and I collaborated as attorneys, sometimes on the same side, sometimes as amicable adversaries at the negotiating table, he became a friend who always looked for practical solutions and who could disagree with my negotiating gambits with such good humor that I would quickly forget what we'd disagreed about. My thoughts are with Dave's family and colleagues. He will be missed.

Dave, you live on, right here in some of my finest memories. I'll think of you often my friend.

Dave was a great man and a very dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was the type of person that always had a smile on his face regardless of what life dealt him. I admired Dave in his profession and had much respect for him as an attorney and as a person. He was my friend and I will miss him. My heart goes out to his beautiful wife and family.

From our time at Jason Lee to pursuit of the state basketball title in 1975 at River, Dave was always a strong leader on and off the sports fields. I still remember all those times as well as summers at the Tiger Cage Camp. My condolences to the Jahn family, but be proud to have had a great person in your life. He will be missed.

Dave was an amazing man.... we played football together at River ....He always had a charming smile and sense of humor that made you feel good... Later on we got to work again with each other in many Real Estate Transactions... His professionalism both on and off the field was OUTSTANDING! I have thought of him often these past few weeks since he passed... From throwing to our rope passes in football to working out details & language in Real Estate Transactions.... Dave congrats to a "Life...

Dave was indeed the "class of 75". I'll never forget the thrilling games in the Chieftain's run at the district title. His profound kindness will be missed.

Rest in peace brother. Tell Papa Doug hi for us. You will be missed

Growing up Dave was just Susie's big brother. Then as we got older we learned he was just one on "the good guys". I always admired how he was as a dad, and how his lil sister looked up to him. RIP Dave!
