It has been over a year and I still miss you every day, Dave! Dave was my boss, my friend, and someone my husband and I considered a brother. His legacy at Avista is immense, as a leader and mentor for so, so many, and the creator of a wildfire program that is the gold standard for the Northwest. My brother was the smartest male I've ever known; at the age of 10 he was beating me badly at chess. He never had to work hard to get A's in school, either. David, I will love and miss you for the rest of my life. Carol James

Dave was the best. What you saw is what you got.....if it wasn´t for Dave, I never would have gotten through college math classes including calculus! He tutored me during lunch hours and even gave me homework! Loved this guy. He was sincere, generous & kind. I am glad I have the fond memories of working with him on projects & the 3rd floor!
