David was always a kind person. I knew him growing up & his smile even then was outstanding. I met him again many years later up at the VA. He would visit my Dad when he was up there. Dave was a wonderful chaplain to our veterans. I am so glad to have known him.

I would like to offer my Condolences to Father´s family. I first met Father David years ago at the VA, when a good friend was close to his end, and could no longer talk, only hand signals thumbs up or down. When he entered the hospital he told me he didn´t care to make use of the TV. David has been a very good friend for over 40 years and I will miss him. I already miss his compassion, energy and faithfulness shown to those he loved and especially to those who felt marginalized. David was very welcoming and did his best to ensure that people knew of God's loving embrace. Finally, who could ever forget his laugh and his great sense of humor? All of these lovable and loving attributes attracted many people to him.

I am so sorry for the loss of Father David. He holds a special place in our hearts since we were younger and grew up with his Family. I have not seen Father David in many years and we did see each other at a function almost a year ago. That brought a smile to my face as we shared memories and took a picture together to share with my siblings. He will truly be missed and may God Bless his Family and Friends he leaves behind.
