I met Dave when I came to Walt Whitman. My first thoughts were of his gentle smile and friendly good morning greeting when we met in the hallway and whenever I had to meet with him about a student. I am truly sorry for your loss. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.

Dear Charlene,
Dave was a great teacher and a good friend. He helped me and everyone around him be better at their jobs. It was an honor to know him and I was very grateful for the opportunity to meet you. He will be missed at Whitman, and I'm sure, everywhere he went.
