I will always remember Dave as a valued colleague at PSU in Mechanical Engineering. He was the first contact person for many prospective engineering students who visited the PSU campus. In fact many students continued to seek him out throughout their undergraduate careers for advise because of his kindness and helpful attitude. I will always remember Dave as a friend and colleague who showed me the way to be a kinder and gentler person, to think the best of others, and to help our students to the fullest. I will miss Dave, his kindness, his infectious laughter, and his wisdom that he shared selflessly.
