The Brothers Three

Rest in Peace Uncle Dave. I know it's been many years since we've seen each other, but dad always talked about his brothers Dave and Sonny. The last time we saw you was for my parent's surprise party, which that in itself was a great gift. Sending love to your family.

Dave was a good friend of ours (along with his wife, Joan, for over 50 years. Many times we shared a laugh and had a very easy relationship. His wit and sense of humor were always welcome and amazing. It seemed to me that he was full of surprises, speaking French, playing the piano, doing what to me were very complicated math problems instantly without a pencil or paper. Although we did not see him or Joanie for the last two years, all the good times we shared still live on in our memories....

Mr. Jenkins Was a great guy. I remember being his paperboy back in the mid seventies. Always waving hi and loved conversation. A great family- My deepest condolences.

Dave and Joannie could frequently be found enjoying the music of fledgling Devonsquare and Schooner Fare back in the "Anthony's days" in Portland. He was a true gentleman, always with a big smile and handshake. My deepest sympathies to his sons and their families.

I worked with Dave, as co-owner of Century 21 Landmark, with Tom Concannon for 10 years at the beginning of my career. (I see Bob Allocca has weighed in here - hey Bob! Long time, no see.) Dave taught me a lot about business and life and was very encouraging to me and our whole team. He had good spirit. We laughed about him being twice as old as me, when I was 27. Despite our age difference, we worked well together, each bringing our own strengths to the business.

Marty, Jeff, this is Tom Linehan. I am so, so sorry to learn of your dad's passing. He was a most enjoyable man, and he always seemed to be happy about something. I believe it was your mom. Sadly, I just now learned that she too has passed. I do not know when that was, but I am also deeply saddened by learning of this. Your parents were perhaps the most gracious people I have ever known. They were tolerant, engaged, supportive, intelligent, and a real joy to be around. If love has any meaning...

I was an employee of Beneficial Finance Co in the late 60's and 70's....Mr. Jenkins was the Supervisor for the State of Maine.....We had an excellent relationship ...he was a good man to work for.....He was so good to work for When he went into the real estate business with Century 21 ....he hounded me enough so I went to work for him.....and made a good living......I knew he was a Marine....but didn't know he was a pilot..,,,Sorry to hear that Joan passed away.....always had good memories of...

I enjoyed celebrating Father’s Day and our birthdays together. He lived life the way he wanted. He chose his day.
