Susan and family,

Please forgive the tardiness of this note as Iwe have just returned from overseas. We are deeply saddened to learn of Dave's passing. Dave will be remembered as a man who loved God and displayed the fruits of the Spirit as a testimony to his faith.
We will pray for you are you walk the deep waters of grief. Our hearts are very heavy for you all.

I was so sad to hear that Dave passed away. I knew Dave as a student at Glenbard West High School and later as a volunteer for Junior Achievement. For many years he taught a Junior Achievement program to students in my Cooperative Education School-to-work program at West. He would come to the class once a week for 6 or so weeks in the fall. These students could be tough to motivate, but Dave knew exactly how to engage them. He won them over with his stories, interactive games, Caribou...

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dave Johansen. Fantastic man! Kind! Gracious! Always positive.
First got to know him at TCU. We played trumpet together in the TCU Band. Were fraternity brothers in Lambda Chi Alpha. He was always highly regarded by his peers. He was loved by all who met him. Once you got to know him, you could never forget him. Just the kind of solid guy he was.

I have known Dave almost all my life. We went through Forest Glen, GE Jr. High and Glenbard West together. We were in band together. He has always been one of the nicest people I have ever known.My condolences to all his friends and family.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Dave. He was a great guy and went far too early. Our thoughts and prayers are with sue and the boys.
