Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to Leslie and the rest of Dave's family. Dave and I were in the same crowd and as a latecomer to it, he welcomed me as if we had always known each other. Dave and Leslie and Marie and I hit it off after our 2008 class reunion and spoke about meeting afterwards... we never got to it... too bad. I apologize for not responding sooner but I didn't know until I saw Dave's name on our Deceased Classmates list on Facebook yesterday. I was truly shocked. Again, my deep...

Dear Leslie and Samantha,
I was so sorry to hear about David's death. I didn't know about it until Sunday, and that was after you held the memorial. I regret not attending.
I like that you and David lived in Manchester, because on occasion we'd run into each other. Whenever I ran into David, it was like finding a $20 bill. I'd be out and about in Manchester, and there he would be with Leslie, and -- many years ago -- with Samantha. (He was so proud of you, Samantha.)
We...

I worked with Dave at the New Hampshire Union Leader for about 30 years, many of them as his assistant editor for the Sunday sports section. He was the consummate professional and put out the finest Sunday Sports section in the state for many years. It was a pleasure and a privilege to work with him. Truly a gentleman, Dave was kind, generous and compassionate. He was a genuinely wise person and very well respected by all who knew him, especially those who worked with him. I have many, many...

My heartfelt sympathies to Leslie and Dave's family and friends. I graduated from Bernard HS the same as Dave. We were friends for many years. He was a kind and gentle soul and will be missed by all who knew him. .... Lou Rowland, St. Augustine, Florida.

Sad, to hear of David passing. While little or no in person meetings, I haven't seen Dave in some time. God bless his famil

Leslie and Family

While we did not know David well our Monday Yoga Class meetings with were always something we looked forward to because of his ready smile, his many interests and willingness to share his knowledge and experiences. We also shared a love of classical music and enjoyed seeing him and you at various concerts.
His presence and personality will be missed.

Dear Leslie and Dave's family, Dave was such a gentile, decent and humble man who will live on for all of us who were blessed to be in his presence. He added so much grace and joy to our fellowship that I will always remember all he had to offer us in his sharing. A very special man and a power of example to me.

Dave's kind and gentle manner helped me to feel so much at ease when I first walked into the halls. I will always remember this. My condolences to his family.

Love and condolences to Leslie and Sam and Family. Dave will be missed, many fond memories to look back on.
