Not sure what to say?

My condolences.

Sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I worked for him at HP. He was an exceptional person.

Uncle David had a wonderful fun loving adventure seeking way about him. He was always an active person - hunting, fishing, camping, and later on bowling. And then there is the Austin Healys.....Such good memories.

David Johnstone, or Mr. Johnstone as I called him for so many years was a great person and a great father to two of my very good life long and close friends Mark and Tim. Along with "Mrs. Johnstone" they were amazing parents and I so enjoyed hanging out at their house all of those years ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

God bless you and your family. I've heard wonderful things about both Mr. and Mrs. Johnstone and I know two of their sons and how wonderful they are. May you rest with the Lord in peace forever.

I was privileged to grow up next door to Dave, Barb, Tim and Mark. He was part of the "Tracy Gang", part of a big family. It wasn't until I was older that I realized how lucky I was. I remember your Dad at our Sunday Champagne brunches making a farmer's breakfast, laughing and joking. He was a great person to have next door growing up and an even better friend. He will be missed, but I know he leaves me, and many others, as better people for having had him in our lives. My deepest...

My Brother, I can feel your lost. My hero left this world for a better place just over a year ago. Although maybe our circumstance are never the same, we both still lost our hero. The one that brought us into the world, showed us the world, and the first one we knew that seem to know the world. Wisdom came from our hero, we often wondered how did they know? That was their superpowers in actions, we could not even begin to know their insight or their special powers altogether. All I know...

I am so sorry to hear the news. David was a wonderful man, him and Barbara always treated me like another son as I have always thought of them as another set of parents. I have thought of him often over the years and he will be missed. Unfortunately I will miss the ceremony but my thoughts a prayers are with him and his family.

Condolences from the Johstone/Zinola Clan. Uncle David always had a ready smile and deep chuckle that made you smile in spite of yourself. I remember the fun parties he would host in the backyard. I will be arriving Thursday afternoon and leaving right after the service.
