Finally got to see you perform live in March 2022, I was in awe - De La Soul, legends & my musical icons. Less than 1 year later you passed Dave. Still completely bereft, but your legacy lives on Trugoy the Dove.

Thank you Dave! From Day one hearing you and the plugs. I ve been hooked. I even made my rhyme style after you n Redman. Everyone please make time to listen to a David Jolicouer TRUGOY the Dove verse everyday. You're gone in the Physical, but youre still here spiritually. You left us an enormous amount of gems to cherish! Thank you Dave! My Favorite Emcee! Thank you for acknowledging me with a Handshake in SOBS October 2000

I remember watching Potholes in My Lawn for the very first time! I said, "Wow, this guy looks like my brother!" From that very point, I listened. Thank you for contributing to the soundtrack of my teenage years through adulthood.
