Not sure what to say?

My team provided PsyOp support for 1-64 in Baghdad, so David and I were frequently on patrols together. My team rotated home about a month before we lost him, so I was devastated to read about his passing when it happened. Being from Laramie, it was very unusual to run into another Wyomingite. Hello,
We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of David D. Julian US Army Staff Sergeant.

We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made...

I think of you daily my brother. Best gunner I ever had. You wasn't a friend you were my family. Rest easy my brother

Served two tours in Iraq with SSG Julian. A 1-64AR, David was a "Tanker" and I was "Infantry" and would joke together a lot. We traded hunting videos that where sent from home. We talked about our families and shared our dreams and plans for the furture. Been a few years now, but not a day goes by.... Rest easy BROTHER! SALUTE!!

I just added a picture from my archives and wanted to add it for everyone to see.

He was such a great leader..Enjoy!!
