David was an amazing man devoted to his trade. His family was always first in his life. He did so much for the Haysville community. Such a huge loss.

I met Dave at work and we quickly became friends. He always listened and had quick words of advice, usually with a story. He will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy for his family.

David was a great man who truly left his mark on the Haysville community. David wasn´t afraid to try! He supported the next generation by donating time and money, coaching and speaking his mind in arenas that would directly impact the children of USD 261 by serving on the school board. The first time I met Dave he blocked my shot, knocked me on my butt with a pick, and offered some "constructive criticism" about playing hard. (That´s the most polite way I can describe what he said.) The last time I saw Dave he gave me a hug and told me to get a colonoscopy. We talked about our families and his fight against cancer. David was a customer of Lusco Brick & Stone. I had the pleasure of getting to know him the past 11 years I worked here. He was always kind and patient, which is sometimes hard to find in the construction world. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Please know that I am praying for your family.
