Not sure what to say?

My sympathies to Dave's family. I hold dear the following: His beautiful smile, the clever and funny ideas such as dog walking rentals at the Lake Michigan beaches, and, best of all, the Summer of '86. He is missed.

We were David's neighbors and were so saddened to learn of his passing. He was a very kind, quiet man who seemed to have such a gentle soul. It was nice to read the entries from his friends and to hear about his time at U of I-- it sounds like he was a very special person!

Our thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends during this sad time.

Sue,Ian and Mike,
Jim and I are so sorry to hear about David. If there is anything we can do, please call.

Phil & Sue,
Pat and I are so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Our prayers go out to you and your families.

Dave was a special person and a very good friend. I have so many great memories and wish I had just one more chance to tell him what his friendship meant to me. Condolences to the friends and family who loved him.

Sue, so sorry to hear about David. Please know that Mary and I are praying for you at this time of grief. If there is anything I can do please let me know.

Dave was the Quiet Beatle in our house in Champaign. And then he'd spring a simple statement or question on you that would show you he'd been considering the foundations of the universe. When he smiled, you felt he was smiling straight through to the center of his being, enjoying the moment as only the innocent can. Thanks Dave, for being part of us.

My deepest sympathies to the family.

No words right now. Just sad. So sorry for your loss.

That beard. That smile. That laugh. These are the things I will remember and miss the most about Dave. We all had many good times with him, and shared many laughs. Dave was an emotional guy with a big heart. I remember how he used to tear up at Louie Armstrong's "It's a Wonderful World" whenever it came on the jukebox. My heartfelt condolences to the Kelleher family. Rest in peace, my good friend. You will be missed.
